EXPRESS HOSPITAL LTD, located at Plot 49 Kukwaba, Along NYSC Road, Kubwa, Abuja, was established as a registered Nigerian company on June 1, 1995, with CAC registration number 277407. In the same year, it was also officially registered with the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) as a hospital and maternity home, bearing the registration number DHSS/REG/89/058. The Medical Director and Chief Executive Officer is Dr. M.O.D. Abonyi, while the Deputy Managing Director is Mrs. Eucharia Uchenna Abonyi.

Managing Director

Dr. M.O.D. Abonyi, the Medical Director and Chief Executive Officer of Express Hospital Ltd, is a seasoned medical professional with nearly 40 years of experience. He holds an MBBS in Medicine and Surgery from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), a Master’s Degree in Health Management (MHM) from Benue State University (BSU), and a Diploma in Family Medicine (DFM) from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN). Renowned for his humility, meticulousness, and dedication to excellence, Dr. Abonyi has distinguished himself in his field. He is a Knight of St. John International (KSJI) and holds the esteemed traditional title of Ossai Eze Opi of Opi Ancient Kingdom in Nsukka Local Government Area, Enugu State. A devout Catholic with a strong belief in the spiritual guidance of human affairs, Dr. Abonyi is happily married to Lady Eucharia Uchenna Abonyi. Together, they are blessed with five children (three daughters and two sons) and six grandchildren. Dr. Abonyi is the founder of Express Hospital Ltd, Kubwa, Abuja, which he has successfully nurtured since its establishment.
